Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about Artist Lab
Should I make an appointment to come to Artist Lab?
We are rarely able to do walk-ins so yes, we highly recommend you to make an appointment online. Making a prior appointment means that we will be able to prepare for your treatment and give you the best service. It will also save you time, as you don’t have to wait for your turn.
How do I book online?
Select the service, date, and time (and artist, if you have a favorite), and simply follow the instructions. We look forward seeing you! Click here.
What is your cancellation policy?
If you can’t make it to your appointment, you can either reschedule or cancel your booking. You can do this through the link in your confirmation email. You can do this up to 24 hours before your booked appointment.
If you would like to cancel or reschedule within 24 hours, you will be charged 50% of the cost of the booked treatment.
If you do not cancel and do not show up, you will be charged 100% of the cost of the booked treatment.
Note: if you do not pay the invoice we will send you, be aware that this is in our system. This means that the next time you will visit Artist Lab, you will have to pay the invoice in the salon. Read more >
What kind of payment does Artist Lab accept?
We are a cash free salon. Please pay with debit of credit cards.
What kind of manicure does Artist Lab offer?
We specialize in classic single color, nail design, and the perfect manicure (no e-file). We only work with the brand The Gel Bottle, both soft gel (gelpolish) and BIAB.
What if I’m late?
Please arrive on time or 5 minutes earlier so you can already check out our colors. We always try our best to accommodate our clients should they happen to run late. However, after 10 minutes, we cannot guarantee your (full) appointment. After 20 minutes your appointment will be cancelled and subject to our cancellation policy.
What if I already have a product on my nails?
For clients with existing gel manicures, please make sure to book your appointment with gel removal. Indicating removal at the time of booking ensures we have enough time to properly take off your gel.
Do you service or remove acrylics, hard gels or dip powders?
Unfortunately, we aren’t able to work with acrylic, hard gel, sculpting gel, or dip powder manicures. We offer a gentle removal process by hand only and only remove soft gels.
Do you offer pedicures?
Currently we don’t offer pedicures, as our nailtechs are focusing on best-of-the-best colors and designs for your hands.
What is the warranty on our manicures?
You have 7 days guarantee on your soft gel treatments. Read terms & conditions for more info.
