Hi there, I’m Dana Taverne, founder of Artist Lab. My journey has centered around creating elegant nail designs and mastering the art of my flawless single-color applications. I’ve honed my skills while working at reputable companies for several years, consistently showcasing a strong work ethic, keen attention to detail, and a client-centered approach. Not only do I value serving clients, but I also place great importance on training and nurturing new talent.

When this opportunity crossed my path – the chance to establish Artist Lab, fueled by unwavering determination, I eagerly embraced this new adventure, motivated by my drive to provide clients an exceptionally comfortable and high quality experience. At Artist Lab, my vision extends beyond conventional nail services – it’s a sanctuary of comprehensive beauty treatments, all aimed at pampering and enhancing the clients’ well-being.

My name is Romee Stapel, a 27-year old absolute beauty lover. Besides being a nail tech I am also a hair and make-up artist. I love to make people feel like their best self and I think a fresh mani can really help with that. From a sheer natural BIAB, a cool abstract graphic design or the perfect sexy red, whatever makes you feel empowered and confident!

Hi reader, welcome to our page! I’m proud to share that I’m working at the beautiful space of Artist Lab, among all the other talented artists. So here’s a little bit about myself: I am Barbara Bolsius, 25 years old and living in Amsterdam for several years now (I’m originally from the South, Dutchies will be able to tell from my accent ;)). My drive throughout my work is to make people feel good and confident, talk endlessly about different topics, or just embrace the calmness throughout a treatment.

I love the aesthetic of a beautiful, strong and smooth nail. Work wise, I love nail trends that come and go, and I’ll always keep an eye on that. Hi everyone! My name is Vreen and I am a 26 year old creative from Nijmegen. For my minor I moved to Amsterdam 3 years ago, apart from a small break I haven’t left since. Amsterdam offers me the challenge and creativity I need.

During my studies I started as a nailtech from home. Through a lot of practice and training I grew to the nailtech I am today. After almost three years I finally decided to work in-house in a salon. I am therefore very happy to be part of Artist Lab. Where I once took my first nail training from Dana, we now work together.

I look forward to providing you with beautiful nails and giving advice to maybe make you try something different than you normally do. I work regular Mondays , Wednesdays and Thursdays so I look forward to seeing you at Artist Lab then.

Hi, my name is Alies. A 31 year old girl from Brabant but living in Amsterdam for 13 years already. I accidentally rolled into doing nails but it quickly grew into my passion. Since I was young I was a very creative girl and beauty lover. That’s something you can see in the way I do nails.

I’d like to create something cool together with my client and I’m open for every funky idea while where at it. But I can’t say no to a cute natural nail as well! I don’t like working in silence (only when I really have to concentrate hehe) so with me there is a lot of chatting. Can’t wait to meet all of you!

This experience allowed me to connect with people from around the world and develop a unique style that I now bring into every design.

I’m specialized in BIAB, a product I love for its versatility and flawless natural finish but also a trend hunter, always looking to innovate and offer the latest.
